The TecyhnoGym Wellness System © is made up of hardware, software, and cutting-edge technologies which are interfaced
with all of our exercise equipment through a TGS key. The system enables Alive & Well to deliver a richer wellness experience
to our members, through a comprehensive, modular network of exercise equipment.
The Wellness Trainer © is the brains behind the Wellness System.
It is a software package used to manage workouts, collect data, and store information. It enables our instructors and personal trainers
to set customised workout programmes for each and every member, as well as send messages to members and other club employees. If
requested, we can use the Trainer Point to check on members' progress and create management reports from the database.
The Wellness Trainer™ provides member benefits as follows:
Management of your exercise data through the TGS Key.
Create and assign a customised exercise programme for each member.
Download the fitness programme(s) into your TGS Key.
Automate your interaction with all of our equipment.
Log all the workout data for tracking, control and reporting purposes.
Review statistics of your progress, equipment usage and other data.
The TGS Key is a key-shaped microchip that carries information about your workout. Members begin their
training programmes when they check in at Alive & Well by inserting their TGS Key into the Wellness
Expert kiosk. As each exercise machine is used, you insert your TGS Key into a console attached to the
machine, which recognises the member and adjusts the machine to your pre-set requirements, and gives you
any instructions needed. Data on the your workout is automatically stored on the TGS Key.
There are no wires connecting the equipment to the computer, and the TGS Key collects the data and transfers
it from machine to machine. When you check out, the keys is inserted again into the Wellness Expert kiosk and
the data is transferred into the Alive & Well Database.
