Meet The Team
We invite you to meet the team
We provide a multi-disciplinary approach that ensures you can achieve your training goals, whatever they may be.
Our staff are all highly qualified in their areas of expertise, and as they have provided training programmes for people ranging from the everyday public through to elitist sports people and olympic athletes, you can be assured that they have the experience to meet your own specific needs.
I have been married for 11 years and have 3 beautiful girls aged 10, 8 and 5. I am 55 years of age and take fitness to the next level. I am in the Great British Dualathon team for the European and World Championships. I have lived in Culcheth all my life and spending time with my family is very important to me, though I do like to escape them by going out on my bike because I am a keen cyclist, and run a demon spinning class.
I have been in the fitness industry from a professional environment for nearly 8 years. In this time I have played sport at a top level.
I personally enjoy taking part in different sports. But mainly I focus on rugby. I am very interested in strength and conditioning side of sport and how the body functions.
My focus for training/coaching is to get the client as strong as possible. In doing so makes them get fitter for a whole range of sports, whilst also obtaining strength fitness is a key role. All the training is planned and also tailored towards the clients specific needs and interests. Personally, I like to explain to the client why we do certain movements and what it is useful for.

Before joining the Alive & Well team I was at Bangor University studying for a Masters in Linguistics.
Since joining the team, I have been gaining experience in reception work and administration as well as meeting all of the lovely members! Having been a dancer from an early age, I am keen to get back into fitness, using the gym and personal training sessions to full advantage!
I try my best to be friendly and approachable – even at 6am! I’m always available if the members need any help or just want a gossip!

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Development and Health Promotion which I gained at Liverpool Hope University.
I have always been involved in sport since and early age. I enjoy playing hockey and netball and love to ski. I also swam to National level.
I travelled around the world for 12 months after graduating. I visited South Africa, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, The Cook Islands, America and Canada. My favourite being Australia.
I live in Culcheth with my partner and five-year-old twins Lucas and Laila – who keep me extremely busy!
I have a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and graduated in 2009 and am also qualified in sports and deep tissue massage. I have gained considerable knowledge working with National 2 Rugby Union Club, Caldy for 6 years, Lancashire County under 18s, and the Cheshire senior squad. I currently work with the England and Great Britain handball teams. I run my own practice from Alive and Well and specialise in exercise rehabilitation, movement patterns, and pain relief where I use my experience and expertise to mend broken bodies and improve my client's wellbeing.
